About the role

As a regional support volunteer, you are the first point of contact for volunteer mentors in your region (including Zeist, Nieuwegein, Utrecht, and surrounding areas). You assist them with the practical and administrative aspects of their mentorship.

Additionally, you organize meetings where mentors can exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and reflect together on their roles. You primarily work from home and can flexibly manage your time. You will be supported by the coordinator in carrying out your tasks. On average, you will spend about 2 hours per week on this role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for volunteer mentors in your region.
• Support mentors with practical and administrative tasks related to their mentorship.
• Organize meetings for mentors to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and reflect on their roles.

Requirements

• Social and communicative skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Able to inspire and motivate others.
• Provides mentors with the space to shape their role in their own way while ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, the code of conduct, and the principles of good mentorship.

Qualifications

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience as a mentor or with mentorship.
• Knowledge of or experience within the healthcare sector.
