Vac Truck Operator
About the role
Potelco, Inc., a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR), seeks a skilled Vac Truck Operator to join our team at our Sumner, WA location. This is a union position; all employees must meet IBEW Local requirements and maintain good standing.
The Vac Truck Operator is responsible for the safe transportation and operation of the vacuum truck to and from job sites, operating the machine in a safe and skillful manner, and assisting the crew as needed to successfully complete each job.
Pay
Compensation Range: The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $34.60/Hr. - USD $60.85/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement.
- Experience operating a vacuum truck.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the last 5 years).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and time management.
- Able to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours), regularly lift 75 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.
