The company aims to make a positive impact on the local community and environment by placing collection bins at customer locations such as restaurants, stadiums, institutions, and food manufacturing facilities.

About the Role

The Collection Driver's primary responsibilities include delivering bins to new customers, repairing existing bins in the field, executing collection routes, and supporting the overall mission of the Collection Team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a UCO collection vehicle for point-to-point pickup and drop-off of UCO.
• Assist in the shop area with projects and delivering UCO bins when collection routes are unavailable.
• Ensure the UCO collection vehicle is in proper working order and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Execute collection routes provided by the route management team.
• Log relevant data regarding the conditions of collection bins and relay pertinent information to management.
• Communicate any messages from restaurant management to the appropriate party.
• Unload the truck at the warehouse and ensure the volume gathered is recorded by operations.
• Submit maintenance tickets for damaged bins.
• Fill out Customer Relationship Management information for each stop on the route.
• Perform duties around the processing plant, including cleaning trucks and collection bins, minor repairs, oil processing, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• CDL Class A License (required).
• At least three years of experience.
• Some experience in a waste collection role (preferred).
• Basic maintenance/mechanical aptitude (preferred).
• Clean driving record.
