About the role
Manage a route and operate a Vacuum Truck to pick up industrial waste from customers such as automotive repair shops and quick oil change businesses, then transport it to disposal sites. You may visit 10-12 customer sites per day and perform manual labor to fulfill customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
- Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner
- Complete all required documentation and labeling
- Generate and collect leads from customers for new products and services
- Sell additional products and services into existing accounts
- Actively prospect for new accounts in assigned route
- Primary account ownership in assigned route
- Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service
- Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Use of various mobile devices
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform physical functions per job requirements
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical
- Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators must meet facial hair standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial driver experience
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
- Previous Hazmat experience
- Previous route driving experience
- Operate a manual transmission
- Business to business sales experience
- Strong customer service background

Pay
Recruiting pay range: $25–$27 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. Some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
