Note: A Private Pilot License is not a course you can use your VA benefits for at SkyWarrior.
Requirements
- Apply for your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) – your official VA document proving program eligibility. VA application page
- Obtain an FAA Class 1 or 2 Medical:
- FAA Class 1 Medical required for ATP course
- FAA Class 2 Medical sufficient for all other flight courses
- Military flight medicals are not accepted. FAA medical informational site
- Complete the SkyWarrior Veterans Informational Bulletin (VIB) – the course overview explaining what the VA will and will not pay for. Download the SkyWarrior VIB
