UX Designer, Enterprise

What You'll Do

• Research and define UX strategy, contribute to the overall product and design direction from concept to implementation
• Develop creative and innovative design solutions for employee experiences that help guide various types of employees from different backgrounds and with different requirements
• Constantly measure how designs are performing for target customers; iterate and improve those experiences as needed
• Work in a highly collaborative environment with engineers and other partners; invest in building relationships and trust with stakeholders and leaders
• Present work to partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders regularly
• Define and share Tesla UX design standards and guidelines. Advocate for consistency across team members and partners

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in the study of design, or portfolio that shows equivalent project experience
• 5+ years of experience designing interactive applications for web
• An excellent portfolio showcasing user experience, visual design, and UI work with a strong design sensibility and excellent, user centric storytelling
• Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, ability to think through complex interaction design
• Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently but also collaborative and driven by group critique
• Able to perform in a fast-paced, high-stress iterative design process under minimal supervision

Expected Compensation

$100,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
