About the role
The Devices & Services Experience Design (DxD) team leads user experience design innovation across Amazon's device portfolio, including Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Alexa.com, and related mobile apps. Our team works at the intersection of design, product and engineering, creating meaningful hardware and software experiences that enhance customer lives. We believe in storytelling and thinking holistically to craft the "why" behind everything we ship.
Responsibilities
- Bring product concepts to life through high fidelity visuals, motion, videos, and interaction prototyping
- Navigate all phases of the design cycle—from discovery and ideation through refinement and execution
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including research, product management, developers and design leaders and communicate design strategy through compelling storytelling
- Thrive in ambiguity, generating divergent concepts while identifying compelling ideas worth deeper exploration
- Synthesize industry trends, customer needs, and competitive insights into meaningful experiences
- Balance collaborative teamwork with autonomous execution in a small, highly skilled team
Requirements
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
Qualifications
- 3+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $117,800.00 - $160,000.00 annually.
