UX Designer

About the Role

The role drives the end-to-end user experience for a high-traffic SaaS product, translating complex user needs and technical requirements into elegant, intuitive digital interfaces. The designer will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and user research to define product interaction models, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs. The position sits within a cross-functional product team where design decisions are backed by user research, web analytics, and iterative usability testing. The designer will have the opportunity to directly impact product metrics and help shape the evolving design system.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactive behaviors
• Design high-fidelity user interfaces and visual assets utilizing Figma, maintaining consistency with established design systems and brand guidelines
• Partner with UX Researchers to plan and conduct usability testing sessions, translating user feedback into actionable design iterations
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure design specifications, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) are accurately implemented
• Contribute to and maintain the shared design system components, documenting interaction patterns and visual guidelines for design and engineering teams
• Present design concepts, iterations, and rationales to cross-functional stakeholders, incorporating constructive feedback into design solutions

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role in a software or tech company
• An online portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design process, problem-solving methodologies, and clean, modern visual design work
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including advanced features like auto-layout, interactive components, and design system libraries
• Solid understanding of information architecture, responsive web design, mobile app design patterns, and digital accessibility standards
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a proven track record of collaborating across engineering and product management teams

Skills

• Bonus: Experience writing HTML/CSS/JS, working within Agile development cycles, or designing complex data visualizations
