About the role
The role drives the user-centered design process for a complex B2B SaaS platform, translating intricate technical workflows into intuitive, elegant, and high-performing digital interfaces. The designer will collaborate closely with product management and engineering to validate concepts, iterate on designs, and deliver high-fidelity specifications. This position requires a practitioner who balances strategic UX thinking with hands-on UI execution. By leveraging quantitative user data and qualitative research insights, the role ensures that product updates resolve core user pain points and align with systemic platform usability goals.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design lifecycle, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Partner with product managers and engineers to define product requirements, technical constraints, and usability criteria for new feature releases
- Conduct generative and evaluative user research sessions, translate findings into actionable design decisions, and present insights to cross-functional partners
- Maintain, scale, and contribute to the centralized design system to ensure visual consistency and development velocity across multiple product lines
- Validate designs post-implementation through usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and telemetry analysis, iterating rapidly based on feedback
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer, product designer, or interaction designer, preferably working on complex web applications or SaaS platforms
- A strong portfolio demonstrating systematic thinking, high-fidelity visual design, prototyping, and end-to-end design process documentation
- Expertise in Figma, including advanced auto-layout, component properties, and interactive prototyping techniques
- Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design principles across desktop and mobile form factors
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, or a related field
Skills
- Experience writing HTML, CSS, and React components (bonus)
- Experience with advanced data visualization design tools (bonus)
