Utilization Review Nurse

Full Time. Days. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Utilization Review Nurse to join our team at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville, New York. In this role you will play a critical role in reviewing patient care plans and ensuring that medical services are provided in a cost-effective and clinically appropriate manner. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough reviews of patient care plans to ensure that medical services are provided in a cost-effective and clinically appropriate mannerCollaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the needs of patientsAnalyze patient data and medical records to identify trends and patterns that may impact patient outcomesCommunicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure that patient care plans are understood and implementedIdentify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to improve patient care and reduce costsStay up-to-date on the latest clinical guidelines and standards to ensure that patient care plans are evidence-basedMust be prepared to work some weekend hours Requirements: Previous experience in Utilization Review including knowledge of utilization review principles, practices and tools.AAS Nursing required. BSN preferred.Current RN license in the state of New York2 years clinical experience in a healthcare settingBLS and ACLSAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks What We Offer: Competitive salary range will flex based on experience.
