Utilization Review Assistant

Position Summary

Affords support to the UM Department in the execution of utilization review processes, which involve the gathering and examination of various computerized data pertinent to Utilization Review, Care Coordination, and Commercial Insurance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year of work experience in an acute care medical facility.
• Job Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, utilization review, and community resources is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills are required.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
