Responsibilities
- Able to complete work efficiently and timely per state guidelines.
- Learn workers’ compensation regulations and interpret complex medical documentation.
- Learn and effectively apply evidence-based medical treatment guidelines such as ODG, ACOEM Guidelines, and MTUS.
Requirements
- Licensed medical professional such as: EMT, Respiratory Therapist, Physical therapist/Assistant, Radiology Technologist.
- Must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as needed for company growth.
- Understanding of various medical areas including, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, physician specialty, and the medical industry in general.
- Five years’ healthcare experience including at least two years’ clinical practice.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and a demonstrated ability to master other software applications as needed.
- Experience with trauma, ER, orthopedics, or occupational medicine is helpful but not required.
