Utilization Management Nurse Consultant (EST)

For our client, we are seeking a Utilization Management Nurse Consultant (EST) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This remote role is focused on supporting utilization management activities that help ensure members receive appropriate, timely, and effective care. The nurse consultant will evaluate clinical information, collaborate with providers and internal teams, and help connect members to the right services within a managed care environment. This position plays an important role in balancing clinical appropriateness, quality standards, and access to care while working in alignment with established coverage guidelines. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $108,000 – $116,775 annually Responsibilities Assess and coordinate healthcare services for members Gather clinical information to make coverage determinations Communicate with providers to facilitate care Identify referral opportunities for integrated services Promote quality and effective utilization of healthcare services Consult with internal and external stakeholders on utilization management Maintain productivity and quality standards in a typical office environment Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of residence 2+ years of experience in adult acute care or critical care Experience in med surg or a specialty area preferred Managed care experience, especially in Utilization Management, is a plus Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred Must reside in the EST time zone Availability for weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Retirement savings options Wellness programs Resources for physical, emotional, and financial well-being Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
