Utility Worker - Transit, CDL

Duties And Responsibilities

• Supports the Maintenance Department and Technicians by performing tasks such as vehicle washing, vehicle or facility cleaning, vehicle fueling, vehicle seat repair, fluid checks, and facility maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe practices or conditions to the supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.

Skills Required And Physical Demands

• Ability to multitask and pay extreme attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and problem solve.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to lift 25+ pounds, climb stairs, and be on your feet for an extended period.

Hard Requirements

• 1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
• FL CDL B Driver's License.
