Street Maintenance
Street Maintenance, a division of DOTI, is responsible for maintaining Denver’s streets and alleys. Key responsibilities include pothole repair, milling, paving, alley maintenance, and snow removal.
Job Description
To support these operations, Street Maintenance is hiring Utility Worker II positions (both full-time and part-time). This role involves:
- Performing semi-skilled and light to heavy physical labor
- Operating light weight motorized equipment and hand and power tools
- Assisting with general labor, safety, and related tasks
- Patching asphalt and paved areas
- Placing and removing traffic control devices
- Participating in snow removal duties
Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience performing unskilled labor work
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to work in inclement weather and road environments
- Desire to advance within the department
- Applicants for commercial driving positions must demonstrate proficiency in English
- Commercial drivers must hold a CDL "B" with appropriate endorsements
