Utility Worker - Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sawing, forming, bending, trimming, deburring, degreasing, and plating equipment
• Read blueprints and specifications to plan operations
• Move and stage materials using lifting equipment
• Adequately adhere to safety policies
• Assist in training
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• At least one year of technical or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
• Ability to interpret instructions
• Valid forklift operation certification

Physical & Work Environment

• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs with equipment
• Standing, stooping, and performing manual tasks
• Working in a noisy environment with moving machinery
• Utilizing safety gear at all times

• Detect discrepancies
• Report issues
• Perform maintenance
• Maintain a clean work area while following quality procedures
