Utility Worker / Cleaner

About the role

Transdev in Allentown, PA is seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Utility Worker / Bus Cleaner. In this role you will keep the fleet clean, safe, and ready for daily service by performing interior and exterior bus cleaning, basic vehicle servicing, and facilities support as needed. The position requires working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Minimum age 21 years
• Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed
• Must complete a DOT drug test and physical (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis)
• Physical ability to work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions
• Frequently walk long distances on possible sloped, slippery, or uneven surfaces
• Push/pull objects up to 25 lbs; lift material up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while tolerating dust, vehicle fumes, and noise

Pay

$20.00 per hour
