Utility Worker

About the role

I BHI Energy is looking for a Utility worker at the Cliffside Steam Station, located in Mooresboro, NC. This is a long term, local hire position and does not pay per-diem or any relocation payment. You will be responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep of buildings and other assigned areas within the facility. Work performance and cleaning shall be to a level that meets established cleaning standards and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings - Follow established safe work practices - Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly. - Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary - Lift fifty pounds over head

Qualifications

- Pass drug test - Pass security background check - Be respirator fit.

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $15/hour to $16/hour.
