We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker. This role carries great responsibility, ensuring our vehicle fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards while maintaining a professional appearance. You will represent our company to the community, so attention to detail and care for the fleet are vital.
Requirements
- No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession of controlled substances within the last five years
- Must pass pre-employment performance evaluation, DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, background investigation, and pre-employment assessments
- Two (2) years of experience related to the job tasks or equivalent experience
- Current and valid driver’s license
- General knowledge of fuels and lubricants, vehicle and fuel safety procedures, and cleaning materials
- Able to lift or move up to fifty pounds
- Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crawl
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and wash the interior and exterior of each vehicle
- Report end-of-day (EOD) mileage for all vehicles
- Detail an agreed-upon number of vehicles per month
- Check and maintain all system fluid levels (oils, DEF, coolant, washer fluid)
- Close and lock the office and shop at EOD
- Ensure vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional
- Maintain detailed records of services performed
- Inspect and document fleet damage and communicate findings to the manager/supervisor
- Maintain a safe, clean, teamwork-oriented work area
- Assist others as requested
- Move vehicles safely between job and work area
- Perform other duties as assigned

$21.75 per hour
