About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker. This role is of great responsibility, ensuring our vehicle fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards while maintaining the fleet’s appearance. You will represent our company to the community, and your attention to detail and care for the fleet is vital.
Requirements
- No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession of controlled substances within the last five years.
- Must pass pre-employment performance evaluation, DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, background investigation, and pre-employment assessments.
- Two (2) years of experience related to the job tasks or equivalent experience.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- General knowledge of fuels and lubricants, vehicle and fuel safety procedures, and cleaning materials.
- Able to lift or move up to fifty pounds.
- Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crawl as required.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and wash the interior and exterior of each vehicle.
- Report end-of-day (EOD) mileage for all vehicles.
- Detail an agreed-upon number of vehicles per month.
- Check and maintain all system fluid levels (oils, DEF, coolant, washer fluid).
- Close and lock the office and shop at EOD.
- Ensure vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed.
- Inspect and document fleet damage and communicate findings to the manager/supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, teamwork-oriented work area.
- Assist others as requested.
- Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Pay
$14.98 per hour.
