Utility Systems Technician
Bethel, Alaska – The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization serving nearly 30,000 people across rural southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. About the role
Performs a variety of general mechanical and preventative maintenance activities for hospital Utility Systems including electrical, emergency power, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, water, sewer, steam, medical gas (oxygen & air), medical vacuum, fuel, communications, and security functions for YKDRH.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade/Technical School is preferred
- Basic knowledge of boilers and related boiler room equipment (on-the-job training will be provided)
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License
- Basic plumbing and electrical tools
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including computerized DDC control

Pay
Minimum hourly pay: $24.95
Schedule
- Full-time (80 hours per week)
- 40 hours per week
