Utility Relocation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate water and wastewater utility relocations and improvements.
• Identify utility conflicts and develop relocation solutions in coordination with roadway, drainage, and other civil disciplines.
• Prepare utility plans, profiles, specifications, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Coverage with NCDOT, municipalities, utility owners, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review survey and SUE information and support utility conflict resolution throughout design and construction.
• Aid with permitting, easements, right-of-way, and construction-phase coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of civil, water/wastewater, or utility engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with water and wastewater pipeline design and utility relocation/coordination.
• NCDOT or municipal infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and/or OpenRoads preferred.

Pay

Compensation Range: $99,431.03 - $113,635.46
