Step into the heartbeat of a busy private-school kitchen, where every clean dish, organized delivery, and well-kept workspace helps create a great dining experience. As a Utility Associate, you'll keep the operation moving with pride through sanitation, dishwashing, stocking, receiving, and kitchen support. Your work will help transform the behind-the-scenes details into welcoming, dependable meals for students and staff each day.

Responsibilities

• Washing, sanitizing, and maintenance of food production equipment & service ware determined by the supervisor and the cleaning schedule.
• The removal of trash and waste, as determined by supervisor, to a determined location.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Receive, unpack, unwrap, rotate, & stow deliveries into appropriate refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms via supervisor's instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Proper sanitation of the kitchen and dining room, and floor maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Lifting and moving of food, food containers and other non-food items from floor position to no higher than one's own height.
• Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
• Must be able to tolerate hot and humid working conditions.
• Must be able to safely operate both a dish machine and three-bay sinks.
• Communicative English is required.

Qualifications

• School or institutional food-service experience is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are welcome.

Pay

$18.50 an hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 10:30am–7:30pm. This position includes both morning and evening shifts.
