Utility Position - Construction

About the role

Pike Industries, Inc., a subsidiary and integral part of CRH, is seeking a skilled individual to join our team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $21.00 per hour, with a night shift differential of $10.00 per hour. The role involves operating construction equipment, performing general construction tasks, and working on various construction projects throughout New England.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment.
• Perform construction tasks such as shoveling, raking material, assisting truck drivers with backing and dumping materials.
• Transfer between different tasks as needed based on project demands.
• Perform general construction duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in construction or related field preferred.
• Ability to operate construction equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Construction equipment operation.
• Physical labor skills.
• Attention to detail.
