Responsibilities
- Cook up all daily crew activities to maximize productivity and quality
- Show good understanding of trench excavation, guidelines and safety
- Work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors
- Daily coordination with team members, sub-contractors, trucking and suppliers
- Utilize HCSS Heavy Job to track daily quantities, use of production reports and daily timecards
- Communicate with project managers/estimators and engineers as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years excavation and grading construction experience
- Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Able to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods of time
- Able to follow safety procedures
- Able to work flexible shifts including days, nights, some weekends
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
