Utility Operator (Powerhouse, STP, WTP)

About the role

The Utility Operator at Villa Haven is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the resort's utility systems, including the powerhouse, STP, and WTP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot the powerhouse, STP, and WTP to ensure continuous and reliable service.
• Monitor utility systems and equipment, including generators, pumps, compressors, and treatment processes.
• Use Daikin central AC system effectively.
• Show excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Show strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Communicate and interact effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Use computer systems and software for monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining utility systems, including powerhouses, STPs, and WTPs, preferably in a resort or similar setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility systems and equipment, including generators, pumps, compressors, and treatment processes.
• Experience with Daikin central AC system is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for monitoring and reporting.
• Fluency in English.
