Utility Operator II - 1st Shift

About the role
As a Utility Operator II, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production equipment such as shears, radial arm saws, and custom machinery.
- Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines, as necessary.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on production machinery as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with prior hands-on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
- Experience with saws, shears, or similar equipment.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
Work Environment
- This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to dust.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.

Pay
$24+ per hour based on experience. $1,000 bonus at 30 days of employment.
Schedule
First shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
