About the role
The Utility Forklift Operator and Production Support role is responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to support production processes. This includes loading and unloading materials, moving heavy objects, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials from vehicles and storage areas
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure materials are organized
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve operational efficiency
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Strong physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
