Utility Foreman

About the role

This position is responsible for managing utility and storm drainage projects in Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Set up and read survey layouts
• Drive company vehicles safely and maintain a clean driving record
• Understand and apply local building codes and regulations
• Work with various types of pipes and fittings
• Interpret project specifications and understand their implications

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in utilities and storm drainage
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Must have a clean driving record
• A good understanding of different types of pipe and required fittings
• Knowledge of local requirements and ability to read and understand specifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
