About the role
This position is responsible for managing utility and storm drainage projects in Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Set up and read survey layouts
- Drive company vehicles safely and maintain a clean driving record
- Understand and apply local building codes and regulations
- Work with various types of pipes and fittings
- Interpret project specifications and understand their implications
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in utilities and storm drainage
- Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Must have a clean driving record
- A good understanding of different types of pipe and required fittings
- Knowledge of local requirements and ability to read and understand specifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Experience with surveying and layout work
- Understanding of local building codes and regulations
- Knowledge of different types of pipe and fittings
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment
