Utility - Food Runner

About the role

Buck & Rider is hiring dynamic, polished, and professional utility team members to join our team. The utility position is truly the jack of all trades—you embody professionalism, poise, and coolness under pressure while keeping the restaurant looking and running perfectly. As a direct assistant to the Service team, you’ll help run food and drinks, polish silverware, reset tables, and generally support the restaurant’s operations.

Day in the Life

• Be friendly to all guests
• Polish all silverware, wine glasses, and champagne flutes
• Know all table numbers and assist in running food and drinks to guests
• Run full wine racks through the dish machine
• Restock all ramekins to both kitchen and server stations
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed
• Keep ice refilled and stocked
• Participate in restroom checks
• Help maintain back dock cleanliness

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both co-workers and guests
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Must have a food handlers card or ability to obtain one prior to the first day
