Utility CAD Drafter

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings.
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
• Create 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
• Perform calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
• Provide support during the construction or manufacturing process by clarifying drawings and providing additional information as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Drafter.
• A strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Microstation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

Monday-Friday (8 hours), Flex schedule available: 6:30AM-3:00PM, 7:00AM-3:30PM, or 7:30AM-4:00PM
