Utility Automotive Technician

About the role

Peter Pan BMW, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an experienced Utility Automotive Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards
• Deliver an excellent customer experience
• Work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Ensure customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey
• Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards
• Communicate clearly and effectively with Service Advisors regarding technical information about customer vehicles
• Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, and ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate
• Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment

Requirements

• Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience

• Strong work ethic
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• 3+ years of dealership experience

• Brand knowledge is preferred, but not required

Pay

Pay for this position is based on production. Starts at flat rate at $33.80 per hour. Expected pay is $70k- $80k per year based on productivity and qualifications.
