About the role

This position requires the ability to safely load and unload equipment onto and off of trucks and trailers, wash equipment, inspect it, and communicate any damages when equipment is returned. Perform minor repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance (PM) services on equipment. Work in all weather conditions, demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, and interact with customers professionally and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment safely onto and off of trucks and trailers
• Wash and inspect equipment
• Communicate any damages when equipment is returned
• Perform minor repairs and inspections on equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) services
• Work in various weather conditions
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers

Requirements

• High School diploma (required)
• College degree or continued education in a technical field (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible/shift hours
• General technical service skills or mechanical aptitude
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer and software skills

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
• Pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, sitting, and climbing up and down stairs
• Climbing into and out of machines

• Work environment noise levels vary from quiet (office settings) to moderate or loud, with potential for sudden loud noises
