Key Accountabilities

• Operating Skid Steer / Track Mobile / Lift Truck
• Operating process equipment and loading railcars, trucks and silos
• Record all necessary data for Quality, Environmental and Safety as required by Company procedures and policies
• General maintenance of plant grounds and equipment
• Able to lift 100 pounds
• Place railroad cars using Car Puller / Track Mobile
• Load/unload liquid bulk tanker trucks
• Use of proper PPE, Safe Chemical handling and storage
• General clean-up

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills (email, Windows, Office)
• Ability to climb ladders and rail cars
• Experience operating fork trucks, pallet jack, track mobile, skid steer
• Able to use hand tools and trades type tools
• Willingness to work rotating shifts if necessary or stay over shift if needed

About the Role

Covia is seeking a dynamic Utility employee to positively impact the Operations team at its Troy Grove, IL Resin location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various pieces of equipment and performing general maintenance tasks.
