Utility Assembler Lev I

About the role

The Utility Assembler Level I performs a wide variety of basic tasks in their home cost-center. They are also required to perform basic tasks in other cost centers as needed to support business demands.

Responsibilities

• Folding, assembling and packing various components into boxes or other containers
• Forming and packing cartons or product trays
• Assembling and packing of molded components
• Inspecting and collating games or puzzles
• Identify defective components or product
• Perform limited material handling duties as needed
• Maintain productivity, safety and quality standards
• Train other employees
• Keep a clean, organized and safe work area
• Perform other appropriate work within the plant

Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required
• Learn and perform Level 2 tasks as part of progression to the next level
• Support and participate in Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs and/or other operational strategies
