Utility 2 - Wash Rack Technician

Position Responsibilities

• Cook up equipment wash activities with production and maintenance team members.
• Pressure wash and clean the exterior of large and small equipment, as well as light vehicles.
• Take care of and maintain all wash rack related equipment, including daily pre-operation checks.
• Move heavy and light equipment to and from different areas as needed for maintenance and/or cleaning.
• Perform general housekeeping and upkeep of safety equipment, wash rack area, shop areas, and other areas as needed.
• Assist all service team members with routine inspections, minor repairs, and general maintenance as directed.
• Report units cleaned, inspection records, and other documents as directed.
• Operate a compact track loader to fill containment bunker.
• Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and in a safe operating condition.
• Complete daily work assignments in a timely fashion.
• Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in safety huddles.

Basic Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
• One to three years of experience operating a wash rack cleaning heavy equipment preferred, but not mandatory.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required to drive company vehicles on property.
• Current or prior MSHA part 48 training is a plus.
