Utilities Industry CIS transformation, SAP Consultant
About the role
Within Accenture's Utilities Practice, we assist retail energy and utility providers with cost-effectiveness, revenue assurance/extension, and customer satisfaction and loyalty through digital customer engagement and operations, connected energy services, and customer platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic consulting engagements in energy retail and customer service, focusing on digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, and operational efficiencies.
- Serve as a primary client contact for senior executives, building trusted advisory relationships and ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve client business performance, drive revenue growth, and support customer-centric transformation initiatives.
- Manage project teams, guiding junior members and ensuring project delivery meets quality, timeline, and budgetary expectations.
- Lead business development activities by identifying new opportunities, crafting proposals, and representing Accenture’s Utilities practice in sales pursuits.
- Actively contribute to thought leadership, staying current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the energy retail sector.
- Drive team development and growth by mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Utility Industry, Customer Service project delivery / Customer Transformation project delivery.
- A minimum of 2 years of functional experience in SAP Expertise in Meter to Cash operations, functions, and technologies.
- Expertise in major Customer Transformation and technology implementations (e.g., CIS replacements).
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience) or an Associate’s degree with at least 6 years work experience.
- Bonus points for at least 2 years of experience in an advisory or consulting role.
Skills
- Ability to improvise and adapt to lead clients and teams through change and ambiguity.
- Ability to gain the trust of clients and partner with them to design business processes, lead design thinking workshops, develop business cases, deliver agile projects, develop new operating models, manage talent and change, and co-create intellectual property.

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $59,100 to $205,800
Schedule
Travel may be required for this role, with an expected range of 25% to 100% based on business need and client requirements.
