Utilities Foreperson- HK Rexburg, ID Area 525624
Position Summary
This role is responsible for leading and supervising crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems, including water, storm, and sewer infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive utility construction knowledge, the ability to meet production goals, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and oversee crews to ensure productivity, quality workmanship, and adherence to company standards.

Plan and organize daily work activities to meet project deadlines and operational objectives.

Cookordinate with project managers and supervisors to ensure proper allocation of labor, equipment, and materials.

Monitor and inspect work for accuracy, ensuring compliance with construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

Enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.

Build projects in accordance with construction plans and project requirements.

Perform additional duties related to the nature of the role as assigned, either temporarily or permanently.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.

Demonstrated experience in utility construction, with thorough knowledge of water and sewer systems.

Previous experience in a foreman or similar leadership role.

Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency with utility tools, equipment, and basic maintenance procedures.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Effective problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.

Ability to understand and follow established safety guidelines and procedures.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
