About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Utilities Clerk - #69 at 3636 Blackstone Ave., Fresno, CA 93726. We're a supermarket serving the community since 1998, offering low prices and fresh produce. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean, safe store.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the proper maintenance of the store, especially in the Produce Department.
• Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• If requested, carry out groceries for customers.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts.
• Run price checks and assist with go-backs.
• Assist with check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively communicate with customers, clients, and colleagues.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
