Utilities Clerk - #36 Salinas (ages 16-17)

About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Utilities Clerk - #36 in Salinas, California. This is a part-time opportunity for ages 16-17.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the proper maintenance of the store, especially in the Produce Department.
• Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• If requested, carry out groceries for customers.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts.
• Run price checks.
• Avoid check stand upkeep.
• Assist with go-backs.
• Remove waste from the parking area.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Pay & Schedule

Starting Rate: $16.90 per hour.
