About the role

Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Utilities Clerk - #25 in National City (ages 16-17). Located at 3007 Highland Ave., National City, California, 91950.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department
• Absorb customers on the store floor as needed
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed
• If requested, carry out groceries for customers
• Maintain and retrieve store carts
• Run price checks
• Absorb with go-backs
• Absorb check stand upkeep
• Remove waste from the parking area

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds
