About the role

Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Utilities Clerk - 070 Carrollton (ages 16-17)! Located at 1235 S. Josey Ln., Carrollton, Texas, 75006.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department.
• Absorb customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• If requested, carry out groceries for customers.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts.
• Run price checks.
• Absorb with go-backs.
• Absorb check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English.
• Ability to interact with general public and co-workers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

• Spanish/English reading and writing skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
• Attention to detail.
