About the role

Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Utilities Clerk - 032 Dallas Fort Worth-W Webb Chapel (ages 16-17)! Store Location: 9727 Webb Chapel Rd., Dallas, Texas, 75220.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department.
• Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• If requested, carry out groceries for customers.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts.
• Run price checks.
• Absorb and remove waste from the parking area.
• Assist with check stand upkeep.
• Ensure the store is clean and safe at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English.
• Interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Skills

• Spanish/English language proficiency.
• Customer service skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.
• Attention to detail.
