About the role
As a Utilities Clerk at the 029 Dallas Fort Worth-Jefferson Store, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's cleanliness and safety. Your responsibilities include assisting in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assisting customers on the store floor as needed.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the proper maintenance of the store, focusing on the Produce Department.
- Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
- Bag groceries for customers when needed.
- Carry out groceries for customers upon request.
- Maintain and retrieve store carts.
- Run price checks and assist with go-backs.
- Assist with check stand upkeep.
- Remove waste from the parking area.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess basic PC/Outlook skills and a Retail Management Certificate. Fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred, along with the ability to read and write both languages. Additionally, candidates must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Writing simple correspondence is also required.
Qualifications
Candidates should be able to interact effectively with the general public and co-workers. This includes presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. The role requires regular lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds, frequent lifting and moving up to 45 pounds, and occasional lifting and moving up to 60 pounds.
