Utah County Front Load Garbage Truck Driver

About the role

Ace Disposal is seeking Front Load Truck drivers for the Utah County area. Responsibilities include waste and recycling collection services, interacting with customers, and following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick up commercial dumpsters from schools, restaurants, apartment complexes, and businesses in Utah County.
• Conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and company policies.
• Interact with customers and members of the public in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
• Work closely with Supervisor and Dispatch, starting times vary but will be set after training.
• Perform mandatory overtime on every other Saturday.

Requirements

• Current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• At least 1 year of driving commercial vehicles experience.
• The ability to move up to 75 lbs and operate a mobile tablet.
• Physical abilities to push, pull, sit, stand, and perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Utah County is beneficial.

Skills

• Safe operation of waste and recycle trucks.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and write for maintaining daily records.
