User Experience Engineer Mid Level

About the role

User Experience Engineers at ELEVI play a crucial role in shaping the user interface and experience of our clients' digital products and systems. They are responsible for designing intuitive and accessible interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research sessions to gather insights from end-users and stakeholders.
• Design and execute usability tests, contextual inquiries, and other research methods to understand user needs and pain points.
• Create visual prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Axure to visualize design concepts.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and improve product usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs.

Requirements

• Hold a current Poly clearance.
• At least ten years of experience in User Experience Design.
• Five years of experience leading UX design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/User Experience Design or related field.
• Three years of experience with screen mock-up tools and related industry tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with usability testing, interviews, and contextual inquiry.
• Experience independently running research studies end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
• Strong note-taking and data organization skills.
• Ability to operate with ambiguous, evolving requirements.

Skills

• Proficiency in screen mock-up tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Axure).
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $94,400 - $140,000, which can vary based on factors such as location, contract labor categories, and individual qualifications.
