User Experience Designer
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a User Experience Designer to support the UX Lead. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting user research sessions (interviews, usability tests, contextual inquiries)
- Executing discussion guides and research protocols
- Administering quantitative data collection methods (surveys, card sorting, tree testing)
- Observing and documenting user behaviors and pain points
- Compiling raw research data into clean, structured formats for synthesis
Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of experience in User Experience Design
- Five (5) years within the last 10 years leading project life-cycle design
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional User Experience Design experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years with screen mock-up tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Visio, Axure) and related prototyping tools
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience conducting usability testing, interviews, and contextual inquiry with end users
- Working knowledge of qualitative discovery methods and quantitative data collection (surveys, analytics review, A/B testing, card sorting, tree testing)
- Strong note-taking and data organization; capture and structure raw findings for leadership synthesis
- Reliable, detail-oriented execution of research protocols
- Comfort operating with ambiguous, evolving requirements typical of mission/IC environments
Clearance
- TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
