About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with users to understand their needs, conduct research, and collaborate with developers to create intuitive and visually appealing applications.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with end-users to gather insights and define user needs
  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions
  • Observe applications in use to identify pain points and opportunities
  • Work with developers to translate designs into functional applications
  • Create sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Visual Design, or related field
  • Experience in user-centered design methodologies
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user experience and visual design skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

  • Relevant work experience in UX/UI design
  • Understanding of information architecture and usability principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about creating joyful user experiences

Pay

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The position is full-time and based in Madison, WI. Relocation to the area is provided and reimbursed.
