User Experience Designer

About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between users and developers, ensuring that applications are not only functional but also delightful to use.

Responsibilities

• Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
• Research user workflows to inform design decisions
• Observe applications being used in context to gather insights
• Work closely with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
• Demonstrate ideas through various levels of design fidelity: sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

• Experience in user-centered design techniques
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
• A strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills

Qualifications

• Ability to relocate to Madison, WI
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Cover letter required
