About the role
Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between users and developers, ensuring that applications are not only functional but also delightful to use.
Responsibilities
- Meet with end-users to understand their unique needs and workflows
- Research user workflows and observe applications in use
- Work closely with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
- Demonstrate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Requirements
- Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
- Bachelor's degree or greater
- Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
